Phagchok Samdrupcholling

Monastery is the name of a small monastery in the far east of Bhutan.

Walk with us into one of the most remote areas of Bhutan and hear their story.

Kuzuzangpo is used as a greeting and as a sign of respect as well as a blessing.

It means: 'Are your body, mind, and speech OK?'

About

We are three friends who have been inspired and have joined the already existing Phagchok Samdrupcholling Gonpa Foundation, in order to help the reconstruction of their monastery. The monastery is in a remote area of Bhutan, and serves to help and inspire all the villagers and visitors to this area.

Project

To help rebuild the monastery and to establish and promote a complete natural self sustainability program for the people in this region.

We would like, also, for this project to inspire more people in different remote areas of the world.

Donate

If you feel inspired by this project, don't hesitate to make your donation. All donations count, no matter how small.

We can all place our "own stone" in the building of this monastery.

The monks are offering their prayers for everybody who makes a donation.

Get Involved

If you feel inspired to become involved in the project in any way, please offer us any suggestions you may have.

 Project News

We are currently organizing the first group of 25 people to journey to this remote area to help us raise funds.

This group wil travel from Paro to the remote East, accompanied by our dear Khenpo and Phuntsho. Whilst visiting some of the most beautiful nature sites and sacred temples of Bhutan, they will be introduced to the beautiful and sacred practices of Buddhism.

They will all receive an innitiation, when they arrive at the temple, from Lama Rinpoche, the head of this monastery.
